How to set up List Keeper
1. Create a webhook in the receiving service
In the service that should receive your requests, create an incoming webhook. It must accept an HTTPS POST with a JSON body like this:
{
"text": "add milk to my grocery list",
"locale": "en-US",
"timestamp": "2026-01-01T12:00:00Z",
"request_id": "amzn1.echo-api.request.…"
}
2. Copy the URL and key
Copy the webhook URL (it must start with https://) and the key or token the service gives you. Note which request header the key goes in — usually Authorization.
3. Add it here
Create an account, then open My destinations and add the destination. Use Send test to check that it works. Your key is encrypted and never shown again.
4. Link your account in the Alexa app
In the Alexa app, open Skills & Games, find the List Keeper skill, choose Enable to use and sign in with your List Keeper email and password.
5. Try it
Start with “Alexa, tell [skill name] to …” followed by one of these phrases:
send {command}relay {command}message {command}tell it {command}say {command}add {command}put {command}remind me {command}note {command}make a note {command}write down {command}buy {command}get {command}
For example: “Alexa, tell [skill name] to add milk to my grocery list” or “Alexa, tell [skill name] to remind me to call mom at five.”
